LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS – OCTOBER 6, 2021 – The Stephens Group, LLC (“The Stephens Group”), the private investment firm backed by the Witt Stephens and Elizabeth Campbell families, announced it has hired Whit Kilgroe as General Counsel. Ron Clark, former General Counsel, will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Kilgroe leads the legal function and is actively involved in the firm’s merger and acquisition (“M&A”) transactions and securities matters. Previously, Mr. Kilgroe was Associate General Counsel at Walton Enterprises, the private family office of the Walton family, where he led the investment and M&A legal efforts. Prior to Walton Enterprises, he was Chief Counsel of M&A at Koch Industries. Mr. Kilgroe began his legal career in private practice with the M&A groups at Kirkland & Ellis and Jones Day.
